Green coffee beans are simply unroasted Coffea arabica beans - the same plant that produces your morning espresso, harvested before the roasting process that browns and transforms them. The lack of roasting preserves higher concentrations of chlorogenic acids, a family of polyphenols that have attracted growing interest in nutritional science.

Chromium - normal macronutrient metabolism & blood glucose maintenance
Chromium is an essential trace element found naturally in whole grains, broccoli, green beans and other foods. At the nutrient reference value level (40 µg per day), chromium has two EFSA-authorised health claims: it contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism, and to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels.
This means adequate chromium intake is associated with the normal processing of carbohydrates, fats and proteins by the body, and with the body's ability to maintain blood glucose within the normal range as part of healthy metabolic function. These are nutrient-level claims - they do not mean chromium treats diabetes or any blood glucose disorder.

Vitamin B6 - protein & glycogen metabolism
Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) is a water-soluble vitamin that the body uses as a cofactor in over 100 enzymatic reactions, many of which involve amino acid and protein processing. The EFSA-authorised claim states that vitamin B6 contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism - the processes by which the body stores and releases energy from carbohydrate and protein sources.
For adults who are physically active, adequate B6 intake is particularly relevant given the role glycogen plays in fuelling muscular activity. One daily serving of Slim Coffee Booster provides 100% of the NRV for vitamin B6.

Zinc is an essential mineral involved in over 300 enzymatic processes in the human body. Among the EFSA-authorised claims for zinc: it contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Zinc also contributes to normal DNA synthesis and to the maintenance of normal immune function.
